I have been working in the social work field since 2008. This experience has assisted me in learning how to meet people where they are. It has also fostered with developing my skills in coaching people to be the experts of their own lives. I have experience in helping people with stress and anxiety, coping with addictions, & lgbt-related issues. I also have experience working with couples. I work with people to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. Taking these first steps can take courage and I am proud of you for getting started! I am a dive-right-in type of person and feel honored to be apart of the life changing process with you! With all of my experience working with people over the years, this is the direction I feel called to go. It is a natural direction since I am drawn to helping people move forward, clarify goals, and create meaningful change without focusing on diagnosis or healing past wounds. It allows me to work with motivated people who want accountability, perspective, and practical strategies to build the life they want now. Unlike therapy, which often focuses on mental health treatment, processing trauma, and addressing emotional or psychological disorders, life coaching is future-focused and action-oriented direction. Coaching centers on strengths, values, mindset, and behavior change, not clinical assessment or pathology. It is my goal to partner with people as a guide and strategist rather than a clinician, helping them gain clarity, confidence, and momentum. In short: therapy helps people heal; life coaching helps people grow.
